Go to Kim at Tarmain Machikos salon. I went to Kim from the salon she was the best with cuts and then the highlights and lowlights she gave me were just exactly how I wanted them . I let her cut my hair and give me a keratin treatment to. I went out on ocean drive in my new outfit with my girlfriends, hair looked amazing. I just love kim. I would say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA plus.I loved the decor of the salon everyone was nice even the shampoo girl .

GREAT!. I went to Machiko Salon for the first time this week. It was amazing experience to say the least. When you walk in you instantly feel relaxed and at peace. There is complete serenty and tranquility. All of the stylists are very professional and freindly with the clients and each other. It seems like they have been working together for a very long time as there is a great energy about them.

In addition, to compliment its wonderful atmosphere majority of the products they use are organic and 'green' AND work fantasically.

Definitly a must try Salon!

Not a green salon.. I don't know how the services in the salon measure up because I've never gotten a cut or color there, but I went to check it out because it was a "green" salon and it certainly is NOT so. They use and sell many toxic products full of plastics and parabens. Just FYI!

Best Hair Color. If you want fabulous hair color go to Maria at Machiko's Salon. Great highlights and lowlights. The lady who washes your hair (Demitria) will give you a great shoulder massage.

Finally, someone who can cut straight hair!. Dise K gave my uber-straight hair a great natural cut. Nothing choppy or with thick layers. He really knows his stuff. The price didn't break the bank, especially for the quality of the service. Machiko herself was in the salon tending to clients and making sure everyone was happy. It was an overall great experience and I recommend it to anyone who's had trouble finding a stylist in Miami. The coffee machine adds a great touch.

New hairstylist from New York!!. I had a haircut by this new hairstylist from New York, Dice, and he is just awesome!! You will be amazed at how he is so skilled to cut and how well he does his job. My friends from New York actually recommended him since he recently moved here, but I am very pleased with what he did with my hair! You should definately give it a try.
