Hip, trendy, yet down-to-earth salon: feels like home. Avalon delivers an upscale, unique cut and style to its clients while maintaining a relatable, friendly attitude. Having become familiar with the Coral Gables area for the past few years, as well as South Beach and Coconut Grove, a snobbish attitude is what you typically find when dealing with salons and fashion industries. And the majority are all about the area, resulting in high prices with a lack of quality. Avalon is completely different. Rei and Tina (the owners) have created a family feel to their salon. They go out of their way to make you feel like more than a customer, but more like a part of a community. The quality of work they do is superior to other salons, and their pricing is more than reasonable. I highly recommend making Avalon Salon your choice for your salon needs, whether it be a simple cut, color, highlights, manicure/pedicure, or hair extensions. They are the best in Miami.

Fanstatic. I recently moved back to the Miami area, after being away for 13 years. Having the same hair stylist for the past 11 years, I was concerned about finding someone that will do my hair and make it look fabulous. My long time family friend Tina Vila, happens to now be one of the co-owners of Avalon Salon; along with her partner Ray Leonard. Tina is not only an incredible hair stylist but also has the most fabulous hair stylist in her salon along with her co-owner Ray. Both Tina and Ray have clients that have been coming to them for over 20 years! The atmoshpere is warm, friendly, and proffesional all at the same time. And not only do they make my hair amazing but also the cuban coffee they serve is outstanding and makes you feel at home in Miami. Thank you to everyone at Avalon Salon for making me feel at home here in Miami!

PROFESSIONAL, GREAT ATMOSPHERE. For many years, I went from one hair stylist to another but was never satisfied. My hair was either too short, too long, or without any style. Thus, I decided to make an appointment with Rei at Avalon. To my surprise, he took the time to ask what I wanted done to my short hair. Rei not only gave the “perfect haircut” but I found myself to be in a professional place that was relaxing, clean and well organized. Now, I can finally say that “I found the one.” Great job, Rei. really good. i been livinfg here in the gables o most a year in this new location i live 2 streets from there i saw it decide to go make a apoinment and lisette did my hair at first i was a bit nervous the i got more relax and she did a great job on me its a bit expensive but worth it

Best Salon. I have been Ray and Tina's customer for 21 years, since I was a teenager. They are fabulous. What you ask is what you get, trendy, classic, modern, you name it they can do it. They use the best products for your hair. I get so many compliments on how healthy my hair looks and how great my hair cut is, from friends and strangers alike. The salon is beautiful and spacious, perfectly clean, the ambiance is inviting and relaxing, everyone always makes you feel welcome. There is parking in the back of the salon free of charge and metered parking in the front. I have a teenager and baby who get their hair cut with Ray. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have a lot of customers that have been with them as long and longer than I have. If you want beautiful hair this is the salon.

Fiona. I have to say that I've been going to the "best" salons in Miami for years . . . on the Beach, in Bal Harbour, and in the Gables. This is definitely one of the best salons in Miami and on top of all that it's super friendly and the people there are great!

You will love it there!

A+++++ BEST STYLIST. I have had long hair for most of my life, and I always had it up in a ponytail..I was really sick of it !

I have a couple of friends that have told me for a long time to go to their stlist in Avalon (LUIS )

Well, since their hair always looks healthy and beautiful I decided to try him. He was very nice

and explained to me why I needed a change, It was clear to me he knew what he was talking

about. So, I let him not only layer my hair I also had some dazzling highlights too (as he said )

to frame my face and give me a softer look ! WOW, I am so glad I went to him he transformed

my look completley...I now feel soooo much more stylish, sophisticated and pretty...

I never put my hair up anymore thanks to Luis and I get compliments all the time on how

lovley my hair looks.. THANKS ; )

nice location. I have finally met the best stylist in the Miami, his name is Luis @ Avalon.. I was told by a friend ( that has perfect hair ) that he was the BEST !!! And it was true, he is the best stylist I have been to in Miami. I have now been going to him for over 1yr. and my color,and cut is flawless ! He has transformed my dull lifeless hair into a WOW !!! Who does you're hair ??? I mean it lady's, he really knows hair and what to do to it to make it and you LOOK GREAT. *** HAPPY HOLIDAYS ***

Best cut and color in Miami..... Tina and Ray are great at what they do.... Avalon Salon is the best one stop shop for beauty..... The staff is super friendly and the salon is relaxing....I have been a clinet of Tina"s for a long time ,and would not let anyone else cut or color my hair...she is the best....Avalon is owned by Ray and Tina and i would recommend either of them to anyone...give them a try....you will not be sorry...great job guys!!!!

*****. Very nice hair salon.Prices are fair for miami's standards.I used to go get my hair styled there and was happy with my stylist .I am no longer living in miami . Best of luck to all
