Nice up-scale salon with a down-to-earth feel and cool employees. The girl who washed my hair gave me the best head massage EVER! And, my experience from beginning to end was nice and easy. I'd recommend.

Fabulous Hair

I'm new to Miami and I have found the most awesome hair stylist! Lissette has done my hair now for the past several months. I get remarkable compliments on my color, highlights, and style everyday! So, if you want your hair to look amazing, ask for Lissette. Oh, and the girl that washes hair Ceci does an amazing job along with the nost relaxing massage! And the nail tech Letty is fabulous also! I just can't say enough

Hip, trendy, yet down-to-earth salon: feels like home

Avalon delivers an upscale, unique cut and style to its clients while maintaining a relatable, friendly attitude. Having become familiar with the Coral Gables area for the past few years, as well as South Beach and Coconut Grove, a snobbish attitude is what you typically find when dealing with salons and fashion industries. And the majority are all about the area, resulting in high prices with a lack of quality. Avalon is completely different. Rei and Tina (the owners) have created a family feel to their salon. They go out of their way to make you feel like more than a customer, but more like a part of a community. The quality of work they do is superior to other salons, and their pricing is more than reasonable. I highly recommend making Avalon Salon your choice for your salon needs, whether it be a simple cut, color, highlights, manicure/pedicure, or hair extensions. They are the best in Miami.
