In Short
The three cozy dining rooms are studies in rich reds and dark wood, presided over by the suave vocal stylings of Ol' Blue Eyes. It's also one of the few restaurants in late-eating south Florida to fill up by 8pm. The thick slab of prime rib is rosy-rare, juicy and savory. The massive porterhouse is a carnivore's delight, the filet almost as flavorful as the sirloin, the sirloin almost as tender as the filet.

Until I came to Christy's, the best filet mignon I've ever had was at Graziano's on Bird Road. Not only was the food amazing, but the red suggested by our server Waheed was excellent. The service was splendid, everyone being very courteous, and Waheed made sure our wine glasses were always filled. The location was very cozy, and classy. Our table was ready at the moment we arrived (we had reservations). Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more because this restaurant had it all.

Visiting from Nashville, we recently had dinner at Christy?s restaurant. It was recommended by friends as one of the best in Miami. Our server was quite attentive especially since the restaurant was packed. With 6 in our party, we tried a variety of appetizers and entrees. The crab cake was fabulous ? large chunks of delicious crab. The shrimp cocktail consisted of 4 huge shrimp ? quite impressive. Caesar salad was included with our entrees! We ordered the prime rib which was served with freshly prepared horseradish sauce. Delicious! The Filet Mignons came just the way they were ordered ? medium rare. They were tender and had great flavor. The duck was served with a blend of wild rice and had a nice mandarin orange sauce. Surprisingly, the fish dishes were just as good. The tuna was sushi grade served rare with a wonderful coconut rice and vegetable. The Sea Bass was delicious. We couldn?t resist the key lime pie and the Baked Alaska which was flamed at the table! A delightful evening!

Upon entering the very tasteful and sophisticated restaurant, we were greeted by a gentleman who just escaped from the Wax Museum. Not to worry, after 90 minutes into our dinner, I think I saw a slight smile (this just in: it may have been gas). Our waiter, just out of formal waiting 101, was professional, but must have been Waxman's accomplice. We made our own good time and the food was very good (shrimp cocktail, porterhouse and flan) and it was nice-sized portions too. The price is reasonable to high. So my recommendation: Have a cocktail prior to your night out, and enjoy...!
