In Short
The birthday-cake shaped outdoor mall is smack in the middle of Coconut Grove, a historic waterfront neighborhood with lots of restaurants, taverns and independent shops. You can sip a latte, enjoy a gelato or just people watch from one of the stools at Fat Tuesday's circular veranda. Teens and singles inch along Main Highway on Friday and Saturday nights and the outdoor cafes and bars draw a randy crowd. The most popular destinations are the Cheesecake Factory and the AMC multiplex. Live reggae, jazz and contemporary bands play on the pavilion during the weekends. The ground floor is devoted primarily to larger retail tenants like The Gap, Koko & Palenki shoes, and Victoria's Secret. The second floor is dedicated to smaller boutiques.

CocoWalk used to be a fun place to visit. Now the mall is half empty, there are stores closed on both levels of the mall. Parking is still expensive. The garage smells terrible. If you must go to the Grove, then visit the knife or firkins pub, both great restaurants.

CocoWalk is a quaint, open-air mall with about 35 or 40 stores including Banana Republic, The Gap, Victoria's Secret, The Limited, The Cheesecake Factory, Perfumania, Beyond Innovations, Watchworld, the Coco series of store and AMC 16 movie theaters. This Mediterranean-style shopping village frequently has live entertainment. There is plenty of covered parking for this Mediterranean-style shopping village.
