We've taken all of our dogs here and have never had a bad experience. To those complaining that staff does a great deal, thats how all medicine works these days and it is also how new vets get trained. You can't expect the Vet to do all of the mundane tasks. Just be happy that he hires compassionate and excellent assistants and technicians. We've had dogs my entire 44 years and I have never had a better vet for them than for my 3 dogs now and previously in another marriage 3 others.

Spotless clinic and excellent vet!

I found this animal clinic out of an emergency. I had adopted a puppy a few days ago, when she began to have stomach problems. I called the number at 9pm, left a message and (having never been a client at the facility) received a call from Dr. Sanchez 20 minutes later. He spoke kindly and concerned, and asked that I come by with the puppy the next morning and would fit me in between patients. The location from 27th avenue did not look very nice at all, which was worrisome, but once I parked outside the back and walked in all my concerns disappeared. The facility is beautiful and spotless (it smelled great, considering it is a vet's office). The technician saw me immediately, was very knowledgeable and the doctor saw me a few minutes later. He is very knowledgeable about nutrition and provided extensive guidance on taking care of the puppy going forward. The attention I received here was excellent and I would highly recommend them. I had a dog 10 years ago with a vet farther away, and never had this type of service or facilities there. They also assist in preparing insurance claims, so that's a plus if you've got coverage.

Negligent Animal Care

DO NOT take your pets here. This place is run by staff and technicians, and the vet is almost never in. My dogs were given a hip X-ray but we were told to talk to the vet when he comes in later on the phone! My dog got a dental cleaning here and the spot they shaved for anesthesia got infected. When we brought the dog in, the staff said the vet was not going to be in during the time his kids were on the spring break. Then, who sees all the pets during that time? The staff and technicians! This place is extremely unprofessional and negligent. I would never go back again.
