In Short – Enjoy the wait while browsing the huge selection of imported Italian delicacies. When you do get a seat, either in the bustling dining room or out on the porch, you'll find service brisk. Consider one of the always-good daily specials, like oak-grilled mahi mahi over mixed green salad or ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese. If you can manage, finish it off with a smooth Italian espresso and some of the city's best gelato.
Bad food. Expensive.

I went to Perricone's looking for a nice italian restaurant to a Sunday lunch. I found a nice place with a small market in the main entrance. The valet service was reasonable for the region ($4). When I ordered the food, I figured out an expensive place that serves frozen foods. I ordered a lasagna and my wife a gnochi four cheese. Our order took no more than 8-10 minutes to arrive. The lasagna and the gnochi were heavy and the taste was similar to frozen foods found in the supermarket. I don't recommend at all.
- Pros: Ambience, parking
- Cons: food, price
A Fettuccini Disaster
by WaxyDreams at Citysearch
We arrived half soaked and half starved, shaking the water off from our coats and shirts. We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated, after which, the staff waited on us promptly and generously.
I didn?t sample the wine, although other guests were drinking it glass after glass, so it must have been good. At $50 per bottle, I hope it was.
While taking our party?s order, one of the servers made a flirtatious innuendo towards my client ? while her husband was right next to her taking care of their baby. I think he was trying to be friendly, but he clearly had no tact.
I ordered the Fettuccini Filet Mignon ($16) ? a nice, sensible item on the menu. When my entree arrived, I received a soupy, dark pasta with strips and bits of beef, red peppers and feta cheese. It didn?t appear quite as appetizing as I thought it would, until I tasted the meat ? it was uneatable.
Quite frankly, I was starving, so I ate the fettuccini by itself, and left all the meat and its accessories on the side of the plate. I then called our server and politely told him he should tell the chef to check on his meat before cooking it.
He and another gentleman quickly apologized, and removed the meal from our the bill, so I have to give them a high mark on service. But, honestly, if I go back to Perricone?s again, I will not order any dish with meat ? unless I?m in company of a brave soul who wants to try it before I do.
Great atmosphere, great food.

Check out a little thing called Goat Cheese Salad and you'll thank me later. Great restaurant. Frequented by all the locals and some celebs as well. The food and the service are great. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Miami area. Only thing that bothers me is the limited parking in the area, but they have valet so it's not so bad, besides it's the nature of the beast in Brickell. If you like fish try their Yellowfin Tuna Steak rare.
