Tips for The Capital Grille

Not just great steaks.... Capitol Grille serves GREAT dry aged beef. Thats been established. Everyone knows.

What they might not know, however, is the many other outstanding offerings the restaurant provides. Ive recently has some of their fish dishes and they are amazingly fresh and delicately prepared. The lunch Tuna Filed Salad with a sun dried tomato vinagrette is a perfect light lunch. And speaking of salads, the spinach salad with warm bacon vinagrette is a great dinner appetizer. They also feature the WEDGE, a crisp wedge of Iceberg lettuce with a decadent Blue Cheese dressing.

In recent visits, lunch guests (or hopefully hosts!) have ordered from Stone Crabs to an outstanding Burger. I would say it would rank top 5 Miami burgers. Food is always consistent.

The Capitol Grille feels more like a Nice club than a restaurant. Service is very professional. The staff is well trained.

Aged Beef Heaven. Best beef in town +, great wine lists, knowledgeable staff, pricey but well worth it.

The best of the best. The Capital Grille needs to be visited by the most critical of steak lovers. When you walk into the place you know your in for a treat. This treat can include a cigar after dinner. (What more could you ask for?) As far a service goes, you could treat me mean if your steak is as good as the Capital Grille. The steak will be delivered hot and as you like it.

Not in Miami. I have eaten at several Capitol Grille's around the country. Most are excellent. The one on Brickle in Miami is not one of them. Twice we have had disapointing results whereby the management failed to take care of the issue.

INCREDIBLE. This is the best steakhouse in Miami. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. Capital Grille is the truly one of the best restaurants I've been to, and I've been to alot of steakhouses, and they do not compete with Capital Grille.
