Rosinella let me down.
Ok - we eat there often, we like it. The food is fresh, homecooked, and priced fairly. We are from Los Angeles and know good food. We agreed this was good food. Plain and simple.
So we go there and I order veal parmesan, they bring me chicken parmesan. Thats ok, its an honest mistake. We tried to tell them, but they were busy, and it was ok. So we didn't complain. At the end of the meal, the check came and I asked them to adjust the price because of the mistake. THEY didn't believe me!! They asked me I ordered and I told them, they agreed, but said that is what they brought me. I said no it was chicken. I said please check what I just had wrapped up. They took the left overs and checked it!!! They came back, with the food wrapped up and gave me the check. The check was adjusted for chicken versus veal, but there was no apology, no saying that is was their mistake. The best part was an 18% gratuity was automatically placed on the check. I decided to let this whole thing go and pay the 18%, but I have decided not to return to Rosinella becuase of their lack of awarness. I thought this place was different that the typical Miami ignorance, but I was wrong.

Great Italian.
For excellent Italian food at unbelievably low prices try eithe this location or the one on Lincoln Road. Both places serve great food, except tha (believe it or not) the service is better on South Beach. Both places serve up really tasty sauces over a variety of pastas. Lots of other choices available in meats, chicken and fish. All are good bets.

The true, simple Italian kitchen.
Owned and operated by Mamma Rosinella, 75 year old chef from Rome, Rosinella has been a local favorite for over 10 years because of its consistent, fresh, homemade food. Anyone with a palate sophisticated enough to appreciate what is good, knows Rosinella is the best.
