Homestyle cooking in Downtown Miami.
I live on Brickell and come to this restaurant at least twice a month for their pumpkin raviolis and pava dessert. This is not your typical fancy/chic/overpriced SoBe style restaurant, and is more for "locals" that have great taste in pasta. The dishes are absolutely great and very reasonably priced. Eat outside on the cooler days. Wine list is great, dessert options are delicious, and the service is exceptional (for miami anyways!) Definitely stop by for lunch or dinner if you're in the downtown/brickell area. park on the street or in the strip mall parking off to the side for free. definitely not the same old same old. highly recommended for those that want to eat great food in a neighborhood style location. also recommended is tutto pizza next door, they let you order from either menu, so very family friendly, too.

Great little spot, not far from the port of Miami.
I stayed at a hotel fairly close to the port of Miami, prior to a recent Bahamas cruise. After a long overnight flight from San Francisco, I was delighted when the staff recommended this outstanding Italian restaurant only about a block from the Extended Stay. I went back the same evening for dinner!
Since Miami is a lot hotter than the San Francisco Bay area, I opted to eat inside though they offer outside dining. The menu was quite extensive. For lunch, I chose an excellent beef carpaccio and an arugula salad with thinly sliced figs, and goat cheese - heavenly. The wine list was excellent - I had one of the best Mendoza malbecs I've ever tasted. Dessert was passion fruit mousse - an unbelievable concoction so tantalizing, I had two. I would love to get that recipe - it's almost worth a trip to Miami for another!
Dinner that evening started with the focacia di capra with its wonderful thin crust, goat cheese and truffle oil. Brazilian owner, Joao - known as Jucca - Carlos Olivera has the pizza place next door and this is one of their specialties. There are so many wonderful dishes - and specials every day - it is difficult to make decisions. I remedy this by arriving a day before a cruise and staying a day after so that I can eat, at least
twice, at Tutto Pasta. I know there are other great restaurants in Miami but, at this rate, I'll never get anywhere else until I've tried everything at Tutto Pasta.

Excellent service and wonderful food.
The wide range of pastas and excellent specials makes dining here a treat. The service is prompt but discreet; you never feel rushed or harassed. The wine selection is quite nice.
Try the pumpkin filled ravioli or the risottos. All great!!!
