DELICOUS! NOT RACIALLY BIASED. The food here is delicious! The seafood is so fresh and the service is fast. I'm of Cuban decent but look American and I'm always confused for an American or should I say a "Gringo" because not just Anglos are American. I always speak in English, they have never treated me unfairly. Usually "Gringos" walk in there already staring at everyone as if they were aliens because yes mostly everyone who works there is Spanish. You know that Gringo look they give you, as if they are saying this guy better speak English or he should go back where he came from. If you have an open mind and are not that defensive maybe you won't give off those sticking out like a sore thumb vibes. This is an original local foodie hotspot and the food is excellent. If you want a delicious meal guaranteed, this is the place to go.

Great food but not anglo friendly!!!!. We have been going to Garcias for several years, we love the food. But everytime we have ever been there there is always some nasty racial comment because we are not spanish. We happen to be white. Here is one example. This last time was the final straw for us. A family was celebrating a birthday and the gentlemen got up and yelled "Well at least I am not some stinkin gringo." I would not recommend this place to anyone who is not spanish. It is a VERY RACIALLY BIASED PLACE. We would never go back or recommend to anyone.

Good seafood. I have been to Garcia's every time I'm in miami and the seafood is good kind of pricey since I live in Texas now and you can get it a little cheaper. I always get the grilled lobster especially when it's lobster season, tryed it once out of season it was not the same. My wife who doesn't like fish really loves the fried whole red snapper, go after lunch when the growd has gone down and you can get a bigger fish for the same price. The fish scrapp tuna is good also with a little hot sauce.

Truly Enjoyable. I went there for lunch with my boyfriend and immediately knew it would be good because of the amount of people there (and with that many people we were seated immediately). The food was great and there are a several great choices of fresh fish available. Great place for families, dates, business lunches, whatever. The wonderful ambiance helps too. Speaking spanish is almost a must, however.

Garcia's. Great seafood at a reasonable price. The seafood was fresh (sometimes off the boat), and the stonecrab is better than Joe's. Interesting ambiance right on the river, outdoors. Highly recommend Garcia's!
