The Rubell family own several hotels in Miami Beach, but the art world is where they are building an empire. The works are exhibited in a former Drug Enforcement Agency warehouse, near the Design District. The cavernous galleries rotate works at least twice a year and include pieces by contemporary art superstars like Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Cindy Sherman and Jeff Koons, as well as cutting-edge artists like Damien Hirst and Andreas Gursky.
