A true slice of Miami – Newtimes 2 time "best" award winning,
with a vibrant dynamic from all schools of art, the Dorsch gallery features wide breadth of contemporary fine artists, from brian reedy`s socio/apocalyptic woodcuts and prints, large abstract mixed media explorations by kerry ware, the well crafted stereoscopic works of william kedell all the way to more traditional objective paintings by claudia scalise and john sanchez. also a host to numerous benefits, fundraisers, group shows, music & performance and even impromptu film festivals promoting stray dog awareness. constantly representing local flavors of miami, the dorsch is always something to enjoy.
Best place to see art by young artists – I am continually surprised by what I see at Dorsch Gallery - from the sculpture by Provisero and Griffiths, to paintings by John Sanchez and Rene Barge, to drawings and video by Kyle Trowbridge, to the scathing satirical etchings and woodcuts by Brian Reedy.. to the SubTropics Music Festival. There was even a small group by fabric artists workings in Miami. You've got to see it. So I'm a groupie. What can I say. I like the art. I like the people.
