We almost didn't stop at Shriver's after reading the negative review from February. But we're so glad that our adventurous nature and good reviews from friends made us go try it for ourselves! Food was hot. Meat was cooked to perfection and tasty. Mash was yummy and baked beans awesome! This is definitely our favorite barbecue restaurant now. Go and tr it. You'll see what we're talking about.

Sweat Shop Q. Major Disappointment!!!!

Had a chopped pork sandwich an it tasted like it was heated in warm dish water.

Beans were just as lame tasted straight ot of a can.

Cole slaw know doubt was at least a day old.

If this is South Floridas place to go for "Q" drive further south or head north as fast as you can go!

You can get the best BBQ in all of South Fla. and they have great sides and desserts.... The whole family will enjoy the food. Fried Corn on the Cobb is very tasty as well as the fried mushrooms and Key Lime Pie... They have Beef, Pork, Chicken, and Fish... It is all fresh BBQ and NOT FAST FOOD... WELL WORTH THE STOP FOR LUNCH OR DINNER... I have been going to Shivers BBQ since the 1950's [my mother took me] The owners have changed but, the food is just as GOOD... JT

Best BBQ in South FL. We have been going to Shivers since our children were little, and now we have also taken our granddaughter to Shivers. Shiver's not only has the best BBQ St. Louis ribs, collard greens fried corn and fried okra, but the owners and staff treat us like family. The rustic ambiance is like no other. A visit to Shivers is like going back in time and is a real "feel good" experience.

The Best Baby Back Ribs Ever!!!. I'm a Baby Back Ribs lover, therefore, I order ribs from every restaurant that serves them. These are the best!!! Perfectly smoked and the taste stays in the mouth even after a while. Also, their BBQ Beans are flavorful as well as their french fries that are crispy, crispy, crispy. For now, "THIS IS THE PLACE FOR RIBS".
