In Short – Despite the strip mall exterior, Le Croisic has all the warm, cozy charm of any rustic little cafe in the French countryside. Named after a small town in Brittany, a region of France known for its crepes, Le Croisic makes those delicate, golden pancakes the focus of its menu. The menu also offers such bistro-style dishes as filet mignon with wild mushrooms and deeply savory French onion soup.

The Extras:
The wine selection is French, limited and priced mostly under $35. The 1998 Moillard Gigondas is not a wine of great complexity, but its hearty, cherry-like fruit makes it a good companion to Le Croisic's bistro-esque fare.
