Editorial Review for Halo – by Ginger Massey and Melissa Jeffries
The Scene
An industrial gray door that once led into the old Biltmore Hotel's basement now opens to an astutely designed club with chic cocktails and see-and-be-seen opportunities. Several blocks from overblown Crescent Avenue, this demure lounge places modern furniture against a concrete backdrop. The mood is set with oversized blown-glass light fixtures that bathe the crowd in a flattering glow. The bar is long, white and glows various shades of red, blue and yellow throughout the evening. A glass wall behind the bar reveals a two-level lounge where DJs play down-tempo tunes on weekend nights.
The Draw
A diverse, ever-changing crowd keeps this club interesting. Nightlife pros are attracted to Halo's laid-back midweek scene. It's a nice setting for sipping cocktails and listening to music; there's even free wi-fi. Weekends, however, attract a coiffed and accessorized clientele on parade.

Went there for my bachlorette party and had a blast. Drinks were delicious and they made it just the we liked them. Service was goood..Would go back. The only thing is that it is hard to find. It's accross from the Biltmore, but its just a door on the side of the building.
