last weekend was my boyfriends grandmothers birthday and one of her sons decided to take us all out to this resturant because they had heard the food was great. The limo service to the resturant (resturant owned limo) was the most disgusting limo i've ever seen and there was no air conditioning to boot, so we all sweated on the way over there. The food was TERRIBLE!!!! they didn't give us our bread untill we complained about it, they waited 30 minutes after we ordered to tell the three people that ordered veal that they did not have any that night, the steaks were veiny, the bruchetta was in no way authentic. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was the worst seafood pasta dish I have ever had...I have had much better at red lobster for half the price... it was VERY over priced...for $35 I got about 4 shrimp, a couple of mussles, a couple of clams, and about 5 pieces of rubbery rings that they called calamari all on top of some disgusting undercooked pasta. The only good thing we ate there was my boyfriends little cousins childrens pizza that she did not finish...we ate this instead of finishing our own food....so if you're looking for good italian food in south beach go elsewhere, the service is horrible and the food is worse.

This restaurant was marvelous.....while we were there however it was very sad that the owner, collapsed right in front of us while he was singing in the restaurant. I heard great things about this restaurant and my friends and I were excited to visit. My experience intially was great, but seeing him laying there sorta put a damper on the rest of our experience. My condolences to the Paesanos staff and family. Overall this restaurant is great.
