Had a blast on my brother's College Grad celebration here. First of, the location is well-placed where they could create oriental feel like crowded people on the side walk (after all they are a mixed of Japanese and Thai).

The service was great, the crews are attentive and friendly making us feel comfortable. Food was good but not the best I had in my entire life except for the lobster roll which was me and my brother's favorite among the list of food choices.

Price of the lobster roll is expensive (on my part) but it's worth the price and I will surely be back to have another roll and to catch-up with my family and relatives.

best combination of sushi and thai food. I CONSIDERED SUSHI SIAM: THAI AND SUSHI RESTAURANT TO BE THE BEST PLACE FOR BOTH THAI AND SUSHI COMBINATION PUT TOGETHER. THE FOOD ARE VER GOOD. THE SERVICE ARE ALSO GOOD EVEN THOUGH IT GOT IT UP AND DOWN. THE LOCATION ARE THE TOURIST ATTRACTION AND IT A BEST PLACE TO SOCIALIZE,RELAX,AND EAT. MY FAVORITE DISHES ARE TIGER EYES AND PAD THAI, THESE DISHES ARE VERY ENJOYABLE AND IT IS RECOMMENDED.

Watch out for MSG!. My food rating may be a bit misleading because at first taste (and for a few hours afterwards), it seemed like a fantastic dinner. The sushi was divine and my Shrimp Pad Thai had an amazing flavor as well as... count them... TEN huge and beautifully-cooked shrimp! BUT, it's now 4am and my partner and I are WIDE AWAKE with headaches and hearts racing. WHY?! We're sensitive to MSG. We didn't know it was in the food, weren't told (of course) and (surprise) it wasn't noted on the menu. I haven't felt this in years, since all of the Asian restaurants we now frequent have banished it from their foods. Now we (unfortunately) know why Sushi Siam's food was so tasty. Take out the MSG, guys - we know you can cook without it!

It used to be SOOO much better. I used to love this place, it had the best curry in the area...but no longer is true (since renovation few years ago). It now is average.

Watch out for gratuity included in bill.. FYI....they add gratuity to the check. My husband and I went here last night. Sushi was decent, I couldn't complain.

A great setting for sushi and Asian fare.. In Short
Sushi Siam sits on the sidewalk scene along one of South Beach's most colorful thoroughfares. The sashimi is usually served in dramatic wooden boats with fancy flourishes of carved cucumbers and carrots. The encyclopedic menu complete with color-coded tabs includes some Thai items, too, such as a subtly spicy basil curry.

Not That Great. I was expecting something spectacular with the locale of this place... The hot appetizer was fantastic (dancing squid or something?). It was all downhill from there. The sushi was horrible. The service was OK but there was barely anyone in the place. I wont go back.

Chef needs more training!. As a frequent traveler to Thailand and Japan, I have to say that I had the worst Thai food (I would dare call it Thai food) and sushi at Sushi Siam in Key Biscayne, Florida. The chef needs more training or you need a new chef. The Tom Yong Koong soup was horrible and the sushi tasted bad. The sushi rice was not seasoned properly. You have great seafood in Florida. Should be able to do a better job with the sushi. I did not see the picture of the Thai King and his family. Need to have that in a true Thai restaurant. It's a sign of a true Thai place.
