Horrible!!!!!!!!!!.
The typical pretentious Nouvelle Cuisine stupid restaurant. We were there for Thanksgiving.
Never in my entire life I tried a turkey like that, inedible, then I asked for a risotto because somebody in our party had one and was ok. After waiting for a very long time the waitress came with a miniature portion absolutely different that what they serve before.
The wine by the glass was not only overpriced but really bad,( I tried Pinot Noir, Syrah and Petit Syrah) Also the dessert was mediocre. And the bar was not satisfactory either.
I can't understand the reviews that this restaurant had.
An impressive menu with an equally rich ambience..
In Short
It's not the typical SoBe spot. Tucked away downstairs at the sleek Hotel Nash, it's a cozy, low-ceilinged space with lots of rich wood paneling and bustling exhibition kitchen. Some items to try include the quail with truffle butter, wild mushrooms and soft egg yolk ravioli and seared rare tuna with foie gras butter melted into French lentils. For dessert, there's a luscious white chocolate-pistachio-roasted banana blondie with Bailey's ice cream.
delicious food, amazing service!.
I was concerned when I arrived because I went to Mark's on a Friday night at 7pm and it was barren! However, it appears that everyone in South Beach hasn't yet gotten the memo- Mark's is awesome. The servers were incredibly attentive (my water glass was never more than 1/2 empty). The food came quickly, and it was very well plated. The flavors were incredible - I had the salmon (melts in your mouth!)
I HIGHLY recommend this south beach find!!!
Chic, comfortable dining room. Consistently good food. Excellent service.. Mark's is a South Beach find. Located in the lovely Art Deco "Hotel Nash", Mark's combines a lovely ambiance, an exceptionally creative menu, consistently excellent service and a wine list to please most any palete and wallet. From the greeting by the host/manager to whatever amazing desert you select, Mark's will be a memorable experience. A great place to entertain for business or a special occasion, you may find yourself back here on a weeknight because it's worth it.
