Located in the smart, yet minimalist, lobby of the Ian Schrager-owned Delano Hotel, the Rose Bar pours out top-dollar martinis to a well-heeled crowd thirsty for an excess of glitz and glamour. Surrounded by overstuffed chairs and floor-to-ceiling drapes, you'll be viewing life through rose-colored glasses in Philippe Starck's ode to "Alice in Wonderland." The bar draws the not-so-incognito celebrities, fashion hounds or visiting royals from the world of entertainment, sports and, yes, even politics.

I have been here 4 times and each time it's gotten a bit better. The first time was awful so that isn't saying a lot! I agree with the last review..Prices are reasonable for food and excellent service but the drinks are overpriced. Crowd was very mixed, mostly late 20's to early 30's. The space is quite impressive and its always fun to check out the rest of the hotel on a nice buzz from the booze.

Real cool spot at the Delano. We had delicious (but small) martinis while watching the beautiful people. Everythings perfect for a romantic night. The crowds well dressed and hip. Expensive, but worth the splurge.
Pros: ambiance, eye candy
