In Short – Inside sits the warm, inviting, rust and wood dining room; but as with most Lincoln Road eateries, the action takes place outside, with the exception of those few days when Miami's usually balmy weather refuses to cooperate. Whether light or lusty, starters will likely be the best part of your meal. Entrees and pastas can be followed by an item from the dessert menu such as tiramisu with plenty of whipped mascarpone.

Recycled Drinks

by RecycledDrinks

We experience something that changed our prospective for eat out. We ordered happy hr drinks (2 for one) and were told we did not have to choose the same drink for our second, so 4 of us choose another drink. This drink was awful, so we asked if we could change and was told by the waiter he could not return the drink, but what do we prefer. He then commences to take one of the drinks (already been drunk from) and gave it to the table next to us. We though we were seeing things, but then proceeded to take another one of the returned drinks to yet another table. We were just amazed and requested the check and left. This ruined out vacation experience, as we just did not trust anyone serving us, who else is doing this? Since he could not return the drinks, was he re selling them? Are they recycling the cherries from our Martinis? also?? So, are complementary appetizers rejects from other customers?

Good food, blah service

by Manal1900

The food was great. The host and waiter that we had were blah...fast talking, dishonest and male chauvinistic.

  • Pros: Great Italian Food
  • Cons: host was dishonest about a drink special to entice us to dine there

Slow service, cold food, but good people watching

by bfid

This restaurant is in Lincoln Mall and has a large outdoor section for dining and watching people walk by. The owner aggressively tries to get people to sit down and dine at his restaurant. When he seated me and my customer he told us that if we didn't like the food it would be free. We sat and watched. Our bread and water came quickly and we were able to place our order fairly rapidly. After a short wait our calamari appetizer arrived which was pretty good.

Our food and wine came soon thereafter. Both my customer and I ordered the Risotto di Mare and it arrived cold. The risotto sauce was tomato based but very bland for an expensive restaurant. The seafood in the food was probably 80% calamari, 10% shrimp and 10% fish- a drastic overuse of squid.

It was all but impossible to flag down any service staff to tell them the food was cold. We had ordered a glass of wine that never arrived. After about 30 minutes of waiting I finally got up and went to find the owner who was still hawking the restaurant piling people in on his understaffed servers. I found the owner and told him our problems. He honored his promise and did not make us pay.

I could see some of these problems on a busy weekend but this was a Tuesday night.

A gentleman sitting beside us waited 45 minutes to pay his bill.

Stay away from this restaurant.

  • Pros: Location, great people watching
  • Cons: Cold and tasteless food, understaffed, slow service.
