The Scene – Chinese restaurant meets American bar and grill in an upscale Coconut Grove shopping mall. With contemporary furnishings, rose-painted walls and polished concrete floor, the dining room is stylish and up-to-date--definitely not the stereotypical Chinese restaurant look. But the corner location and big windows looking onto the mall never let you forget you're surrounded by serious shoppers. – – The Food – Don't expect unfamiliar regional Chinese specialties, but do expect that dishes from the all the usual suspects Chinese menu will be exactingly prepared…
Solid good Chinese food.

They used to be much better when they were on South Beach but the restaurant still delivers good Chinese food. Not great but solid good. The Chicken with Fried Spinach is excellent and their Mu-Shu pork is also worth a try. Can be hit or miss at times but it's the best Chinese in Coconut Grove and centrally located. Now, if only they would deliver.
- Pros: Solid good, better than average
- Cons: No delivery
Gourmet Chinese Delight

Been dining at Chrysanthemum for years. Since they moved to Coconut Grove, it's closer to my home and I eat their often. They have the best Chinese food I've eaten anyplace! Their crispy orange chicken (or beef) is the tastiest dish we've had there but my family also raves over their chicken szechuan.
Since they've added a new decor, the new look adds class and atmosphere to the wonderful food.
Their service is the best. Each waiter or waitress makes you feel special.
- Pros: Free Parking, Great Service, Wonderful menu
