The only thing better than a bargain is a freebie. Miami has no shortage of places that believe in taking a charitable hit in the near-term in landing a long-term customer. From free chocolate and wine tastings to an art gallery fit for empty-pocketed art lovers, this town has it all. Rejoice, skinflints. (Hint: The wine and chocolate tastings at Peterbrooke Chocolatier are a good place to start.)

Deli Lane's rowdy sibling often spices up its happy hour sessions with free buffet spreads. The standout freebies come on select Fridays, when it's a seafood smorgasbord being given away. It starts at 5pm and continues until the last of the oysters has been plated.
Chocoholic oenophiles are in heaven at this Miracle Mile sweet stop. Free wine and chocolate tastings are held on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm. The catch, of course, is that guests will be wooed into buying the shop's high-end chocolates after a few wine sips.
Until it moves to an even bigger home at Museum Park in 2012, this mid-sized gallery offers several art exhibitions, notable collections and plenty of educational presentations. Admission is $8 for adults, but the museum is completely free on the second Saturday of every month.
Sports are a passion at this colorful bar. Between the 10 televisions for spectators and the pool tables for cue stick jockeys, there's always a game on. This brings us to eating as a competitive sport on weekdays from 4pm to 7pm, when happy hour also brings out the regulars who cash in on the complimentary bar food.
Entertainment is never in short supply at this waterfront shopping and entertainment district. The hub of musical action takes place on the marina stage, where live bands play world music nightly. If you're hungry, head upstairs to the food court, where toothpick collectors can walk away with free chicken samples from enough Latin American and Asian fast food joints to silence those grumbling stomachs.
