Crazy Pianos Miami
Read Reviews3015 Grand Avenue, Coconut Grove, FL 33133 (map)
The bigger the group, the better as dueling red pianos amp up the mood during classic crowd sing-alongs at this Coconut Grove bar. Who needs karaoke when everyone can take part in the humiliation?

Love Hate

If velvet ropes and bottle service are your thang, it's probably best not to come here. The antithesis of Miami's scene, this tattoo lounge with a liquor license shines the spotlight on the work of owners Ami James and Chris Nunez, whose tattoo parlor starred on TLC's "Miami Ink."

Mia at Biscayne

Clubbing and new tech go hand in hand at this classy downtown hotspot. Tricked out-touches include LED glass bars that change colors, an interactive wall that ripples as guests walk by and an iBar counter where the bar-top is a multi-touch projection system where barflies can pull up digital menus, doodle or pay their tabs. This has to be where George Jetson met Jane.

Bancroft SupperClub

More "club" than "supper," the real treat at this South Beach hangout is when the dining room tables are cleared away and the music gets cranked up. It's then when dancers strut down the runway and the action gravitates toward the dance floor and the throwback bar.

Carrington's Sports Bar and Grill

The ghost of the Hooligan's Pub that was a mainstay in this Pinecrest space lives on. Locals will still find the billiard tables and video games in the back room, live music on the raised stage in the main room and an army of 60 perched televisions to keep an eye on all of the games that matter.

Crescendos Piano Bar

Step through a time machine into the 1970s, where this tribute to old school piano bars from the Northeast play on. Patrons can even smoke here, as the bar served no food. It's just stiff drinks on the menu as light fingers tickle the ivory keys.
